Social Share Image
Upload a custom image that appears when your gear list is shared on social media
When someone shares a link to your gear list on Twitter/X, Discord, Facebook, Slack, or any other platform that supports Open Graph previews, that platform fetches a preview image for the link. By default, MakerManifest uses your gear list's cover image as this preview.
The Social Share Image lets you upload a completely separate image optimised specifically for social sharing. This is useful when your cover image is cropped for the list page but you want a wider, 1200×630 image for social link previews — or when you want the social preview to include your brand name, a call-to-action, or other visual elements that don't belong on the list itself.
Set the image in the gear list editor under the Social Share Image section. If no social share image is set, MakerManifest falls back to the cover image. Recommended size: 1200×630 px.
