Why Affiliate Analytics Matter
Amazon Associates shows you what sold. But it doesn't tell you which video drove the click, which gear list converted best, or which country your buyers are coming from. Without that data, you're guessing at what to optimize.
What MakerManifest Analytics Shows You
MakerManifest's click analytics track every short link click — not just purchases. You can see:
Basic Analytics (Basic plan and above)
● Total clicks for any time period
● Lifetime clicks
● Clicks-over-time chart (7-day and 30-day views)
● Your top 5 performing links
Premium Analytics
● Countries breakdown — world map + table showing where your clicks come from
● Referrers — which sites and platforms are driving traffic to your links
● Devices — mobile vs desktop breakdown
● Top 20 links (instead of top 5)
● 90-day and all-time date ranges
● Store filter — isolate clicks to specific affiliate programs
How to Use It
Go to Analytics in your dashboard. Look at your top links and identify which gear lists or products are getting the most clicks. Those are your best performers — put their links in more places (more videos, higher up in descriptions, in your bio).
Check the countries breakdown. If 30% of your audience is UK-based, make sure you have an Amazon UK affiliate tag set up for geo-routing — otherwise that's 30% of your potential commissions going uncollected.
Check referrers. If YouTube is driving 80% of your clicks, double down on putting links in video descriptions. If a blog post is driving unexpected traffic, write more posts like it.
